Circus at Celebrate

All of the circus disciplines require balanced strength and flexibility which will be developed and honed through a structured training plan allowing the artists to achieve their potential and goals.

We aim to only have 2 children per point, which allows them to use the equipment for longer periods of time and primarily get so much more from their session. Our circus sessions are coached on a 1:6 ratio, so each individual gets one on one input from our experienced instructors.

The cost of the classes are £55.00 per month and are calculated pro rata. The sessions run 50 weeks of the year so the children will be able to continue throughout the school holidays and we are open every Bank Holiday as well.

No prior experience is required to sign up and we have a range of different sessions to accommodate different abilities.

Our circus classes run across Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings but are subject to availability and may have a waiting list.

We also offer open training to existing students only on a Friday 8-9pm. If your child is an existing student interested in this, but does not regularly attend, please discuss with Chrissy whether space is available.

What should my child wear?

Children should follow our standard uniform guidance, but in addition we recommend wearing leggings. Some students may also find it beneficial to bring or wear a long sleeve top. This is because the equipment can cause discomfort and bruising and there is the risk of friction burns although this is not common.

Performances and Competitions

Our circus students put on a Christmas show for their parents which is highly anticipated and enjoyed by all.

In addition to this, we sometimes enter external competitions and have historically run a spring or summer show. 2025 will see only the one Christmas show however, as we are focusing on developing skills and confidence on different equipment during the spring and summer terms.
