Competitions

Competitions are extremely important for the physical and mental development of gymnasts, but need to be appropriate to their skill level.

During the course of each year, Celebrate Gymnastics is hoping to host a variety of invitational competitions at various technical levels where we are able to ensure that gymnasts are competing on a like for like basis.

We feel that it is imperative that gymnasts are encouraged to challenge themselves and not focus on medals.

Taking part and doing your best is a fantastic way of helping children develop skills for life beside improving their physical health. They learn self-belief, resilience, determination, to win graciously to accept failure but strive to be better.

Coach Development

As part of our philosophy, we are keenly aware of the need to keep our coaches engaged mentally. Continuing Personal Development for coaches is integral to the development of the Gymnasts, Coach and Club.

Coaches will be given the opportunity to continue on a dedicated pathway but also to diversify in other branches of gymnastics.

Club gymnasts may be asked to participate on these development days.

Holiday Clubs

We run holiday clubs for most holidays, see the front page of our website for the current dates, clubs and applicaion froms.

5 to 14 year olds 
£20.00 per session, £35.00 per day
from 9.00am to 12.00pm and 12.30pm - 3.30pm
(Please bring a packed lunch if you are coming all day)

Parents and Toddlers (please check for availability)
9.30am - 10.30am
£5.00 per session

Pre-school  (please check for availability)
10.30am to 11.30am 
£7.50 per session

Birthday parties

Birthday parties at Celebrate Gymnastics Club last for 1 hour and 30 minutes with time allocated for cutting of the cake and distribution of party bags.

The party session would consist of a short warm up, some games, team building exercises and free time to use the gym equipment.

Special Events

Periodically through the year we will be holding “Special Events” including “Summer Gala & BBQ”, “Winter Wonderland Display” and “In House Competitions”.

Gymnastics Displays

Twice yearly the gymnasts will be involved in a themed whole club display. They will perform a group routine choreographed by themselves, (age dependant), with the assistance and guidance of their coach.
